The place we stayed at was truly beautiful and authentic; our room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely balcony; the owner, Nico, was very kind and helpful, even greeting us at the ferry pier and assisting with our luggage—nothing to criticize, everything was perfect.

We were thrilled to spend three nights on Symi at Albatros. Nikolas is an excellent host and a true Mediterranean person; his warm welcome made us feel great, and he gave us local tips. The hotel sits in the centre of Symi, and you only have to climb the 15‑20 steps inside the property—no other elevation needed—to reach the rooms. Nikolas met us at the harbour by car and walked us to our room, which was the best service I’ve ever received through booking. There was no breakfast on site, but we could use the kitchen as we liked and the pastries we bought at the market were enough. Nikolas also offered bottled water if you didn’t want tap water, which was very generous since water was what we needed most. The rooms were small but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom worked well. Each room had a balcony that was enough to dry our laundry, and we could even see the sea from the end of the street. I was very satisfied with my stay at Albatros and will recommend it to all my friends.
