The room and bathroom were fine. There’s a wardrobe with hangers and shelves, plus extra blankets in the closet. The room is spacious, with a balcony, a kettle, and a tea and coffee set. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. The staff are helpful and smiling. Special praise goes to Mr. Kuba from the restaurant—he’s a one‑man orchestra. The private beach is a short walk away. The beach is okay, the pier is good, and the lake water is clean.
The breakfasts were very average, especially the hot dishes, which were not warm right after the kitchen opened and sometimes were oddly prepared for breakfast (fried liver, steamed vegetables). Focus on classic breakfast items and do them well. The restaurant menu lacks regional dishes that the hotel advertises in its brochures. Parking is paid, though the final price for the stay wasn’t inflated. The beach loungers were very hard. There was supposedly a lot of water equipment for rent, but during our stay the paddle boats and rowboat were broken, and no one bothered to fix them over the long August weekend. The beach bar was a mistake. The fish (if it was fish) was quite strange and tasteless. The menu listed items that weren’t available (e.g., hotdog)—guests mainly ate pizza, which isn’t what the region is about.
