The place is beautiful and very calm, far from city noise; the staff were extremely kind and helpful during an emergency situation with my stay in Ubud—thanks so much for this experience!
“Havre de paix en plein coeur d’Ubud”
The location in the rice paddies is quiet, letting you stay away from Ubud’s traffic while being a 5‑minute walk from the markets and a 10‑minute walk from the Ubud Palace; the pool is great for a refreshing break or a calm moment. Checking in and out is a bit complicated because there is no real reception—you have to randomly find staff.
“Great stay in Ubud”
The host is friendly and the place is quiet.
The location is near the rice paddies, and there was one very kind young staff member. The environment was poorly maintained, with dirty windows and a constant musty smell despite keeping the door and windows open. The sheets looked clean but had a stale odor. I also lost personal items that were in my backpack; I asked for clarification but received no verification or response.
“Falta limpieza y detalles”
It’s in a great area, a bit away from the center but still very central, very quiet and relaxed among rice fields, with a couple of cozy cafés nearby. The villa itself is pretty and the staff are friendly (except for the owner, whom I never saw despite asking). The rooms are nice but lack cleanliness: the room I stayed in wasn’t swept, there was even a beer can under the bed that stayed there for several days, and dead insects under the wardrobe. The toilet wasn’t clean. The bathroom has open windows that, while providing great morning light, let insects in at night. Cleaning occurs every two days, but in my opinion it isn’t thorough—dust under the bed and insects remained after three days. I had to ask politely for the room to be swept, yet the bed area was still not cleaned. I think it’s a lovely hotel but needs a bit more care to be perfect, giving a sense of neglect.
