Very good outdoor options right from the hotel, sometimes this could have been a nice spot. The room was old and worn, a school‑like vibe, the toilet kept leaking. Staff didn’t speak Finnish and was hard to reach on the premises. The hotel is only suitable for a single night if you absolutely must sleep somewhere.

Breakfast was varied, staff friendly, location perfect for us. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature and a stunning lake view. The room temperature was cold, the sauna was cold, and the common areas had an unpleasant smell, probably from moisture.

Maybe a bit older, but the genius loci here is incredible. You can see the passage of time, yet the place still enchanted me. Reviews said the shower was cold, but the price includes a sauna with a warm shower and a pool. Parking is supposedly far—actually only 50 m, so guests don’t have to walk too far. Breakfast was Swedish‑style but reasonably priced; you can’t expect caviar and champagne at this price. I left hungry. The hotel’s lobby, restaurant, reception, and bar feel like a timeless, beautifully crafted space. Receptionist Heidi added a cherry on top. I definitely recommend this place! I can’t describe it, but it felt different—ordinary, cheap, simple, peaceful, like a film.

The price was reasonable and there was a laundry service, which met my expectations. The bar had some kind of party, but it ended before midnight. The house is old‑fashioned.
