Blissful Country Cottage really lives up to its name—comfortably furnished and fully equipped, with a kitchen that sits separately from the bedroom and bathroom, and an open fireplace that feels like heaven. The hosts were accommodating, friendly, and helpful, and the garden was exquisite; I even used the washing machine and enjoyed the three well-behaved dogs. The cottage is ideal for exploring Elgin’s vineyards, the weekend market at the restored railway station, the fruit orchards, or the coastal towns of Hermanus and Kleinmond, and I also liked visiting the two delightful farm stalls nearby. All in all, I would highly recommend this relaxing spot for a few nights. Nothing else comes to mind.
