“Lovely stay close to the airport”

We were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to the diamond suite at check‑in, which was fantastic; the on‑site restaurant is superb and we made a reservation ahead of time, and the location is perfect for before or after flights.

“A short trip to Keflavik Iceland in the Keflavik Hotel”

The restaurant and spa were excellent, and the staff at both places were friendly, but the room on the 4th floor was problematic: people upstairs dragged furniture across the room all night, preventing any sleep, and the doors slammed loudly, waking us whenever someone entered or left their rooms late at night; breakfast was also disappointing— the small area was crowded, there were no plates or cups ready because they were still washing, so I ended up eating cereal in the hotel entrance, which is unacceptable for a supposed 4‑star hotel.
