The staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The cooked English Breakfast was lovely and set us up for the day. The shower cubicle drained a little slowly.

The staff were friendly and the place had a good vibe. If you want to go to bed early, it’s better to bring earplugs. My lock was broken, but since the place seemed secure, it didn’t bother me too much.

Easy to find, convenient parking and the staff were really helpful with bus details for the local area to save on taxis. Convenient parking for the hire car too. The owners have a great history with the place and the community. Everything was fine, but the pub opens at five so don’t arrive too early like I did; take your time getting there.
