The staff were lovely, the food was great, and the recently refurbished rooms were clean. The room didn’t have a lamp, but the staff brought one when I asked.

The venue was absolutely outstanding, well priced, with great service and an overall excellent stay. It’s in the town centre, serves amazing food, and the open bar has a huge drink selection. My double room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a private bathroom that was very clean. The staff were always ready to help, which made the stay great – everything was brilliant.

The family room offered good value. The staff were very friendly and even booked us a table in the bar when it was busy. The room had a coffee machine, kettle, and a large TV screen. The mattress felt a bit worn and it’s only a double. No toiletries were provided, and the TV couldn’t be seen from the separate single bed.

The gentleman who checked us in was fab! Rooms were clean and comfortable. No small light options for reading, the one main light was quite dull also so no good for reading on a night
