“We were able to enjoy the stay, but it does need to be updated some.”
The room rate was the biggest draw. The place had just changed hands and the office was still being painted when we got there. The shower was a clunky, old model that was hard to turn on; the hose was in rough shape and the tap needed oiling so the water could be turned on and off. The toilet lid also had to be tightened. Despite those quirks, the room itself was comfortable, so we left early the next morning without speaking to the new management.
