“Excellent place to stay as a base while I travelled around the lake district”
The owner was really nice and reached out to confirm that the shower was draining properly after it had been slow. The entire space was spotless, and they left biscuits, tea, coffee, and other snacks for me. It was a cozy spot with no issues at all. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s right next to a main road, so cars can be heard zooming by at times—nothing the owner could control, but good to know for light sleepers.
Everything was conveniently close, even a coffee shop nearby, yet the caravan still carried a strong dog smell despite being dog‑friendly.

The lodge offered every amenity imaginable, was spotless, and check‑in and check‑out were effortless; the views were breathtaking and the pre‑arrival text/email proved very useful.
The place is in a great spot with solid facilities, but there was nothing negative to mention.

The setting was gorgeous and the décor immaculate; the sofa was a bit uncomfortable, but otherwise there was nothing I disliked.
