The location is close to the sea with sea sounds, old pine trees, and a quiet setting, though motor noise can be a nuisance. You can sit outside, park near the cottage, and check out only after 2 pm. The accommodation is outdated and poorly equipped; the sofa bed is unsafe, the bathroom has mold, there’s little kitchen gear, and no hair dryer. One receptionist is good, but with the other you have to ask for all basic information. The price‑quality ratio isn’t great.

The staff were friendly, the pool was generous and clean. With the help of security we were able to move into our mobile home late at night; after 11 pm motorised vehicles aren’t allowed on the premises, which didn’t bother us, and we could still leave the car overnight behind the fence. The beach is far from the dunes despite the location, and the mobile home had a strong PVC smell, so we kept the windows open. This let sharp pine needles drift in, settle in the bedding, and caused several splinters.

The experience was horrible: as soon as I opened the bungalow door, an unbearable smell hit me, so I had to open all the windows, which did little to help. When I went to bed, I found hair in the sheets. The supermarket stocked more pet food than human food, and there was almost nothing. The front‑desk staff seemed to be there just to be there (unfriendly), and by the time I arrived, I had already paid for the room but still had to pay a €100 deposit to enter… They should have been the ones paying to stay there!
