Schooner Motel

The motel is short distance from downtown Tofino.

“Tofino was great , motel was bad.”

The motel is very central, and a grocery store is right across the street. The room was dark, smelled musty, the beds were hard, and the pillows were even harder than the mattress, leaving me with a sore neck and sleepless nights. The shower head was in need of replacement—it felt like standing under a weak rain. I killed a spider upon arrival and another tried to climb on me as I went to bed. Overall, this location needs major renovation and upgrades; you get what you pay for. On top of that, a drunk woman was arguing and smoking outside my door the first night.

“Great location. Needs maintenance”

The motel’s central location is next to a great restaurant and supermarket. Some people smoke weed on the balcony walkway, and the place feels a bit shabby overall but acceptable. There is no air conditioning.

The location is good, but the facilities are old and tired and not well maintained.

“100% of my staying Tofino was excellent due to Schooner Motelr”

Every aspect of Schooner Motel was excellent, this motel exceeded my expectations, from the location (downtown Tofino) it is just across the supermarket, Gift shops , restaurants, the Harbour are all a short walking distance, my room was Phenomenal, there was a kitchen inside equipped with a fridge, stove & oven, microwave, as well as kitchen utensils, cutlery, and cooking pots, The bedroom heater was functioning well, it kept me warm and comfortable all throughout, the bed and pillows were restful, giving me a perfect good night's sleep for the 3 nights I stayed there, the bathroom was exceptionally clean, and everything (toilet bowl, shower, sink, shower drainage all worked fine, The staff were so nice and helpful, my compliments to Chester and his boss were constantly smiling all throughout, Schooner Motel is truly Phenomenal & Exceptional, I definitely will stay there again.
