At the reception, no English is spoken at all! Since this hotel is listed on booking, it implies they expect and accept guests from all over the world, right? Therefore, speaking an international language is necessary.

The most important factor was how close the venue was to the congress. The hand‑washing liquid was there, but there was no shower – maybe if I had mentioned it I’d have received one, but I bought a bottle and that solved it.

The bed was good. When I arrived I was told I’d have to pay €65 instead of €50 extra for a 3‑legged dog, otherwise I’d have to find another place. I paid because I was exhausted from the long drive. The receptionist didn’t speak any English.
