The beach and bar were nearby, but the cleaning lady didn’t always refill the minibar and the loud music made it hard to relax.

We recently stayed at Ananea Kleopatra Beach in Alanya and were overall very pleased. The property is larger than expected, yet its split‑building layout keeps it from feeling like a huge, impersonal complex; some buildings sit on the beach while others are across the street, connected by a tunnel so you never have to cross the road. We stayed in the beachfront building and enjoyed a sea view from our room. The hotel offers three pool areas and its own beach loungers, and we never struggled to find a spot on the beach. At the pools, though, we saw people reserving loungers at dawn. Breakfast was very good, service was friendly, and the gym was fully equipped. We ate a few meals at the beach restaurant House of Bohem; the food was good, but we especially loved their amazing Bohemian Lemonade and Acai Bowl. The only things that slightly lowered the experience were the room’s Wi‑Fi and the communication. The internet was incredibly unstable; it didn’t work during the day and only stabilized at night and early morning, which was annoying at times. Also, they didn’t answer any questions via Booking before our trip, so I had to call the hotel directly for answers. Despite the internet issues, we warmly recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and cozy atmosphere.

The reception staff were very friendly, walked us to the room, and showed us everything. The breakfast itself was tasty and the selection was good. However, the suite’s cleanliness was poor—long black hairs on the floor and dust in several spots—and soundproofing was practically nonexistent. The bathroom was the worst; we could clearly hear neighbors’ music and conversations through the wall. The room’s proximity to the stage meant we heard all the evening events until 00:30. The shared dining hall on the ground floor was in an inhuman condition: stifling heat, non‑working air conditioning, no fans, and even local Turkish staff walking around drenched in sweat. The fruit was poorly washed, and the coffee machines were a nightmare—two machines for all the hundreds of guests, with a constant queue of four or five people. Each time I tried to make a cappuccino, the machine threw an error and demanded someone empty the used coffee container, refill the water, or add milk. It’s a serious issue that needs fixing. The value for money was terrible; we paid over 300 USD per night, which is a lot even by European and American standards, let alone for a small resort town in Turkey. We will definitely not return and will not recommend this hotel until all these problems are addressed or the prices are lowered.

I waited a long time to check in, and the room disappointed me because it was on the first floor with a roof view instead of the promised sea view. The staff weren’t very responsive about fixing the issue, so I ended up giving up and regretting the wasted time.
