The apartment was roomy, just a stone’s throw from the sea in a charming village, with two balconies offering sea views; parking sits right outside in the courtyard, and the kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, even with a dishwasher. The area was calm and quiet, making the stay very relaxing. The only drawback was the air conditioning, which worked only in the living room and kitchen, not the bedroom, so our family ended up sleeping in the living room because of the heat.

“Evociranje uspomena od pre pola veka”

It was fascinating to find myself in a location I hadn’t been to in almost fifty years and see how much had changed; the beach spots are exceptionally good, with no crowds or problems finding a spot on the beach. Unfortunately, the beach at Vučina lacks official city beach status, so there’s no organized control, lifeguard service, or other supporting institutions—everything is left to personal conscience, which many visitors lack, especially regarding cleanliness and waste removal. Even with two Toy Toy toilets (one of which was overturned), beachgoers often relieve themselves in nearby bushes, and moving about 20 meters away means you’re “enjoying the scent of Mediteana.” Regarding the location itself, there were some late‑night “excursions” on the floor above the apartment, with someone apparently rearranging furniture and making noises late at night; fortunately, I slept well and the noises didn’t disturb me.

The hosts were exceptionally courteous and very accommodating—thank you for that. Everything was clean and tidy, and the small room with a terrace offered a view of the sea.

“Krásná lokalita”

Žuljana is stunning. The kayak rental on the beach was non‑functional, which was a shame.
