“Cute and comfy”
A tiny unit that was super cozy, with a bed that was really comfortable for a night or two. The breakfast that they offered was lovely as well. Thanks.

The location was great, close to Claudelands Event Centre. The rooms were well furnished, with a comfy bed and nice furniture. Breakfast was good and parking on site was easy. Nothing else to add.

The apartment sits in the front of a larger house that’s divided by a hallway, and the apartment itself was a 10/10 – the Villa Charm team delivered a beautifully appointed space that matches the house’s era, and it’s near Hamilton’s centre. I could walk to the Farmers Market on Sunday morning, and the CBD was just a 5‑minute drive away – if it hadn’t rained I’d have walked. The apartment is spacious; both the lounge and bedroom are comfortable. There’s a claw‑foot bath and a separate shower cubicle in the bathroom. A washing machine, private outdoor space, and on‑site car parking are available. The hosts offered a wide selection of continental‑style breakfast items. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were fluffy. I’d recommend bringing ear plugs, however. The house is built in a traditional style – suspended timber floors, masonry walls, and double‑hung single‑glazed windows – so external noises can be heard inside, especially at night. Freight trains ran throughout the day, roughly one per hour, and continued until just after 2 am when the last train passed. The train line is behind the buildings on the other side of the street, but there’s no building in front of Villa Charm, so the noise went straight into the front bedroom without a buffer. I didn’t notice any early trains on Sunday morning, but by Sunday evening the trains were running again until 2 am, and then the first train of the day on Monday ran past around 5 am. I could have managed the train noise, but on Saturday night the immediate neighbour (who shares the driveway) had a party that was in full swing at 4 pm and still going at 2 am – it looked like a celebration with balloons, but an outdoor party past midnight in a residential area is really unreasonable.

Very lovely and cozy; we arrived to a warm, inviting villa. Everything met our needs for the 2‑night stay. Handy location. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Hamilton and this review fits you, I recommend it. The big shower cubicle and deep bath were nice, especially for the wife. Comfortable beds. Plenty of extras. One thing I should add: I didn’t realize the train passes nearby, which did cause a startle.

What an outstanding B&B!! Everything decorated with so much care and love and everything is super clean and tidy. 😆 the bed is sooo comfy. Best thing is that you have the whole Villa Charm for yourself. The really only downside is the location. In front of the Villa, approximately 200 meters away is the train track. Good there was no traffic through the night. At 5am was the first train going through. BUT… despite the noise, I will always stay there if I am in need of a B&B This Villa is the BEST!!! Thank you for the love you put into this house. It shows that you value your guests. And the host’s communication was excellent. So 10/10. The train 200 meters in front of the house. But nothing they can do about that
