The property is set away from Lucca, in the countryside, and quiet. We had the two‑bedroom suite, and one of the beds was really narrow, as is common in many places with two beds. The breakfast was simple, lacking bread. The reception was reserved. No complaints.

A room that felt very comfortable and a pleasant visit overall, but the area has no stores nearby; that’s not a huge issue if you have transportation, but anyone staying without it should be aware.

The building is quite charming, with a great spot to reach Lucca, Pisa, etc.; the room was clean, had air conditioning, and the fridge water was included in the price, plus a hearty simple breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s free parking close by.

The little Art Gallery B&B was spotless and Mario was very friendly and helpful. We were attending a wedding in a large local villa, so we just needed a base and a place to sleep at night, and it was perfect for that. It’s basic and has no frills, so if we were holidaying more broadly in the area it would have felt too simple. I’m not sure it really qualifies as an art gallery—maybe the name is a bit misleading! But it was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable indeed.
