The hosts, Mr. Marcelo and his family, were really welcoming and the room felt cozy with a gorgeous view over the lagoon. On a weekend night they baked a wood‑fire pizza that was downright delicious. We’ll be back soon, God willing.
“Vista deslumbrante”
The lagoon view looks even better in person than in the photos, and you can reach the soft‑sand beach with a 600‑metre uphill walk that passes a nice lookout. A few hundred meters further down the street you’ll find a tiny beach, a court, a restaurant and kayak rentals, plus several eateries by the canal and a small market before the bridge. Marcelo and Irene were fantastic hosts and their weekend pizza was a real treat. The only downside was a little road noise, but it didn’t spoil the stay.

The view and location are simply spectacular – this little lagoon corner is my favorite spot on the island, and Marcelo and Irene have created a truly special place. The kitchen is fully stocked for breakfast or a quick snack, and the apartment is just the right size for two people. My only gripe is that the blackout curtains could be a shade darker to keep the morning light out.
