I was shocked to discover that the place was shut down!

I realized Booking has its limits when I was contacted on the day we were supposed to arrive because the hotel was closed without any prior notice. I had already paid the full amount in advance for a stay that never happened because the doors stayed shut. Customer service promised to find a solution so I could be reimbursed for the amount that was debited from my account. I’m frustrated that Booking asks for reviews of a stay that never took place!

I didn’t visit the property because, after contacting the host the day before my stay, he only informed me that the facility was closed for administrative reasons and that you were aware of it, yet you still allowed the booking and charged me, and the money has not yet been refunded.
